The 2023 MCG Holiday Gift is now closed. Thanks to everyone who helped us raise over $7500 for three great charities!
Here’s $10. Now pick which charity you’d like us to give it to. Or use it to get a gift for a loved one—or a little present for yourself—from the MCG Shop. The 2023 MCG Holiday Gift is here!
This is a tradition here at MCG: we give you a $10 coupon for the MCG Shop. Use it to get a little something for yourself or a loved one—or turn it into a donation to one of three charities we’re supporting this holiday season. We make the donation (100% goes to the charity) and you pay nothing!
Here’s how it works:
- Go to the MCG Shop.
- If you’d like to make a charitable donation, click on the 2023 Holiday Gift and add one of the three donations to your shopping cart. They’re $10 donations, so when you use the coupon code you pay nothing and we make the donation!
- Or you can shop for a gift for a loved one—or for yourself. Or do it all!
- Regardless, at checkout, enter the following coupon code, which gives you $10 off: 2023MCGHolidayGift
Get $10 off The Devil’s Dandy Dogs or The Weird. Step into the Ninth World with The Glimmering Valley, or build a truly flavorful campaign with luxurious the Old Gods of Appalachia Campaign Journal—and save 33%. Pick up a Player Notebook or GM Notebook for half off. Or give a gift certificate to a friend (and get a smaller one for yourself, as a gift from us). Get a PDF adventure, like The Takings, absolutely free!
Or choose a $10 donation to A Place Called Home, Care Beyond the Boulevard, or the RPG Creators Relief Fund—all charities that MCG staffers have a special relationship to—and make the holidays a bit brighter for someone else. You can use the 2023MCGHolidayGift gift code for anything you like!
But don’t delay: The code expires on December 31st. And one code per user, please!
Here’s a little information on the three charities we’re supporting this year:
A Place Called Home
A Place Called Home serves disadvantaged youth in South Central Los Angeles through education and arts programs, mental health counseling, mentorship, job readiness, college scholarships, and civic engagement. Young people who face tremendous challenges can experience the safety, joy, and opportunity that should be a part of every childhood. Javier has taught at the program’s after-school arts program.
Care Beyond the Boulevard
Care Beyond the Boulevard provides quality medical and mental health care and support to the houseless and under-served populations of Kansas City, outside the bounds of traditional health care settings. Tammie, Charles, and Bear live in the Kansas City area and are friends with Russell Kohl, a physician who volunteers weekly for this organization.
RPG Creators Relief Fund
The Roleplaying Game Creators Relief Fund (RCRF) provides financial assistance to tabletop roleplaying game creators suffering hardship due to medical emergencies, natural disasters, and other catastrophic situations. Bruce sits on the RCRF Board of Applicants.
