New statements. New horrors. New lore. New resources for the GM. New options for the players. New adventures by The Magnus Archives creator Jonathan Sims.
We here at Monte Cook Games, along with our friends at Rusty Quill, are excited to unveil our next crowdfunding campaign—The Magnus Archives RPG: Tangled in the Web—and with it three forthcoming supplements (and more!) for The Magnus Archives Roleplaying Game.
As archivists for the Magnus Institute (or a similar organization), characters in The Magnus Archives Roleplaying Game investigate accounts of paranormal and horrific experiences from people of all walks of life. Along the way they find themselves enmeshed in larger patterns of supernatural danger threatening the world as we know it. Based on the hit horror podcast and produced in conjunction with the podcast’s publisher Rusty Quill, Ltd, The Magnus Archives Roleplaying Game was released in October.
The Magnus Archives RPG: Tangled in the Web will launch in early 2025 and introduce new supplements with new player and GM options, new creatures and threats, and new scenarios—including adventures written by The Magnus Archives co-creator, and voice of the Archivist, Jonathan Sims.
We’ll happily send a reminder to anyone who would like to be notified when the campaign launches—just click through below and give us your email address. As a special thank you to those who sign up, we’re adding an exclusive Magnus Institute patch to the rewards of those who go on to back the campaign.
